The Epilepsy Services of Nigeria Embassy in Côte d’Ivoire (Videos)

The Giant of Africa (NIGERIA) Embassy in Côte d’Ivoire is going against the ethics, norms and work of a consular. The condition and services given by the embassy to Nigerian in Côte-d’Ivoire is in all form cripple.
I want Mr President Muhammad Buhari to look into the following observations, allegations and problems that I will point at in this article.
It’s not sounding well that Nigeria Embassy in Côte d’Ivoire is not able to provide biometric identity card for Nigerians in Côte d’Ivoire. The Identity cards delivered by the consular is not biometric which has put many Nigerians in conflict with some officials of Ivorian government. For instance, it’s impossible to withdraw money at the bank with the Nigerian identity card.

It’s impossible to register SIM card with the same identity card and all other biometric exercise that can be done with identity card is impossible to perform with Nigerian Identity card. This is something we pay for but we’ve been duped by people the government lay trust on.
Another issue that is alarming is the ID card registration and passport registration by proxy, it’s now impossible to register passport or ID card yourself in this Embassy because the officials of the Nigerian Embassy have given the job of this Embassy to some people (proxy staff) without these proxy staff we can’t do anything in the embassy.
These proxy staffs are not employees of the consular but they are illegally intermediary staffs between Nigerians and the consular. Each proxy staff has its price for ID card registration and passport registration which make it difficult for Nigerians in Côte d’Ivoire to respect the Embassy work. It’s deplorable to see the embassy of the giant of Africa in this mess.

I’m a concern youth, that’s why I’m crying out to the government now before things get to uncontrollable condition. The embassy doesn’t have a receptionist whereas many Nigerians are jobless. The 9 storey building is empty, some are even saying the consular have ghost workers which the government pay monthly. Imagine, passport registration taking Nigerians a month and above to get!!
The staff doing this job are not enough to do the job yet they refuse to give jobs to Nigerians where other neighboring countries are giving jobs to their citizens in diaspora. We have educated Nigerians in Côte d’Ivoire that can work but are unemployed. Mr President Muhammad Buhari, kindly do the necessary.
The present administration has been able to fight corruption to a good level in Nigeria but has a lot to do in the war against corruption in all Nigeria Embassies.
