Method of preparing Tiger Nut Milk
Put the tiger nuts in a bowl with a lid and add a small pinch of salt, pour the water over the tiger nut and cover it, let them soak for 24 hours the longer it soaked the softer it becomes.
Once soaked, pour tiger nut and liquid through a sieve and rinse well, place the tiger nuts in a blender and add two cups of water a little at a time, (try not to add too much water, to retain the taste). You can add any flavoring of your choice if you want, blend until its very smooth and creamy, pour through a sieve to separate the milk from the tiger nut pulp.
You can pour the pulp back to the blender add a little more water to it and blend to get all the juice out. Once finished pour the milk in a jar or cup you can refrigerate and enjoy.

HOW TO PREPARE TIGER NUT MILK SMOOTHIE INGREDIENT
- Tiger nut (dried or fresh)
- Dates fruits
- Avocado pear
- Pineapple (optional)
- 2 cups of tiger nut (or as desired)
- One coconut
- Two pieces of banana
- One avocado
- Ten dates
- One medium ginger
- One quarter of pineapple fruit
- One apple
Methods to make the smoothie
Wash the tiger nuts and soaked for 24-48 hours and cover with lid or cloth, uncover the lid or clothes wash the tiger nuts well and rinse then blend the nuts, ensure the water you used in soaking it it slightly above the tiger nuts. Separate the milk from the chaff of the tiger nuts and pour the milk in a bowl.
Serve the coconut milk from the chaff and pour into another bowl. Next wash you dates, remove seeds and soak for 20-30 minutes, blend the dates, and pour it in a separate cup.
Next, wash the avocado and peel off its skin and remove seeds and dice it peel the banana skin and dice it too, finally mix up everything, if you decide to add the pineapple fruit then add it too, pour all in the blender and blend till became smooth and creamy serve chilled.
