The Syllabus review webinar held on Friday, September 25, 2020. Immediately after the March diet exam 2020 that took place in September, it was advised by ICAN authority that students should not wait for the September exam results to be released before they start lectures and preparing for December exam as there is no time at all.
Syllabus will be reviewed regularly from time to time due to dynamic environment of the economy. In this regard, the ICAN syllabus has been reviewed which will take effect by March 2021 diet. The syllabus will focus more on information technology and digital economy in every subject based on the current development.
Present at the unveiling of the new ICAN syllabus are; ICAN President DAME Onome Adewuyi, FCA Cutting the Tape to Unveils the new syllabus, with are: Prof. Ahmed Kumshe, Registrar/Chief Executive, DR. Felix Osuji mni, FCA, Council member and DR. Ben Ukaegbu, FCA, Deputy Registrar Technical Service.

The syllabus review slides shall be provided on the ICAN website as the slides was blurred during Dr Innocent Okwusa FCA presentation.
Some of the information includes,
1- Students to be tested on new Syllabus from March 2021
2- Skills level paper to include Taxation (compulsory for all students) to enable HND/BSC graduates be well equipped in the new taxation reforms/laws
3- Compulsory questions (Section A) from March 2021 now 30 marks, while Section B shall be 20 marks for each of the two questions to be answered and Section C shall be 15 marks for each of the two questions to be answered.
4- Questions shall includes the Technological disruptions, Finance Act 2019, CAMA Act 2020, Accountability in public Sector and Efficient public management.
5- Syllabus to be reviewed annually or as necessary
6- Results shall be released after 6 weeks of examination.
