In the spirit of making Iwo land an exemplary identity for others, His Royal Majesty set to launch Telu Football Club. Oluwo of Iwoland, HIM Oba (Dr.) Oba AbdulRasheed believes in the youths and thinks their talents can be a fortune for the land.

In continuation of his registered efforts at empowering resourceful minds, Oluwo of Iwoland, HIM Oba (Dr.) Abdulrosheed Adewale Akanbi, is set to launch a football club, Telu Football Club.

Oluwo called on talented footballers within Iwo Federal Constituency to log their names at his palace.

Oluwo disclosed Telu FC was prompted to discover and promote talents in sporting most especially football. He said close monitoring of his environment revealed there are many young talented and skilled players roaming the street, saying God will use him to empower some of them through the promotion of their dream in soccer playing.

Therefore, any interested individual between 17 years to 25 years should come to the palace of Oluwo from tomorrow 10th June 2019.

In addition, indigenous coaches can also submit their CV for review.

It could be recalled that his Late father, Prince Adeyemi Kola Akanbi, a renowned personality, former town planning Chairman for Iwo Local Government was the owner of the defunct Town Planning Football Club of Iwo during his lifetime.

There are many talented individuals who could use this avenue to realize their dreams. Though there are many grassroots football clubs in Iwo Land. However, the introduction of the a modern under the control of Oluwo of Iwo land will promote the soccer game.

With this new development, many promising Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo can be brought up from the Telu Football Club.
